A Workout Calendar that Works

Don't break the chain calendar 2016 - Karen KavettKaren Kavett is a YouTuber, graphic designer, and crafter extaordinaire, and on her website she provides an awesome free resource called the Don’t Break the Chain Calendar 2016. “The way it works is simple,” she says,” – just choose an activity for the calendar and, if applicable, the amount of time you want to do it for. For example, you could try to run for 30 minutes every day… Every day that you do it, you cross off the day on the calendar and soon you have a long visual chain that has formed which you won’t want to break by skipping a day” (Kavett, 2015).

I’ve been using Karen’s calendar to track my workouts, and I’ve found it to be incredibly motivating and helpful. Give it a try!

Yoga Pants for Tall Women

Yoga pants for tall womenOne of my tall clients (6’1″ in her bare feet) was telling me that through a tall women’s facebook group she’s a part of, she’s discovered an unexpected mecca of AFFORDABLE, GOOD QUALITY (not see-through) yoga pants and active wear for tall women: Old Navy online.

They have a huge selection of yoga pants – and other “tall-wear” for tall women 5’10 and up, but the trick is that you can generally only get it online, not in the store.

Here’s where to go for yoga pants for tall women:

  • OldNavy.ca yoga pants for tall women – and tall women’s active wear (the pants go to the floor on my 6’1″ client).
  • OldNavy.ca tall women’s everything (5’10” and up)
